I am excited to announce that With The Meltwaters has received another grant to produce shorts and a public screening/artist talk that will contribute to the full film through the Community Art Regrant program.  Saratoga Arts made this program possible through the Community Arts Regrant Program, funded by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.

This round of funding will help to purchase equipment, storage and travel expenses to film footage within the Capital District and surrounding locales in the Adirondacks and Hudson Valley.  This footage will be used in shorts that will explore aspects of our changing winters here in the Northeast, as well as community responses and perspectives to these changes – with an emphasis on addressing climate anxiety and concerns. 

I am truly thankful for this amazing opportunity and hope that it inspires others to contribute to this film and the events and community engagement projects that I hope this project ignites as I move through the process of creating it.
